Autobiography of a Yogi is a classic and was a book I read as a young-thing, way on back in the 1960s when the Beatles and Bob Dylan turned to the east and began to meditate! Looking back I can see I was far too young to read the book, and remember not understanding most if not all of it. Ahh, but life mature's the soul, one way or another.

He was the first Yogi/Guru to visit the US after Swami Vivekananda and stayed there for more than 30 years establishing Self Realization Fellowship Centre and Society, which developed a considerable following there. Autobiography of a Yogi is a classic and was a book I read as a young-thing, way on back in the 1960s when the Beatles and Bob Dylan turned to the east and began to meditate! Looking back I can see I was far too young to read the book, and remember not understanding most if not all of it. Ahh, but life mature's the soul, one way or another.
